Sylex is a material developed by Univet Research & Development department that allows the obtainment of protection levels superior than common plastic frames.
Sylex revolutionizes the laser protection, ensuring at the same time complete safety, comfort and extraordinary lightness. Thanks to its unique structure it offers the possibility to exploit the features and benefits of plastics (ergonomics and light weight) to guarantee, according to EN207: 2009 standard, the following protection levels: 190-315 D LB8 + IR LB5 >315-1400 D LB6 + IR LB8 + M LB7Y >1400-11000 DI LB4 U S CE 10 W 2*10-3 J 400-700 RB4 U S CE These safety levels are achieved without the addition of metal inside the frame, but only thanks to the chemical structure of the material, which offers superior resistance to direct a laser. The high protection of this material is combined with the considerably reduced weight, granting a greater comfort to the user, which can comfortably wear the goggle for all the work shift.
SoftPad is the patented terminal that added to eyewear’s temples provides excellent comfort and protection. Thanks to the length adjustment in 3 positions, the tilting movement, the innovative use of materials and a meticulous design this technology refines the already impressive ergonomics of Univet models, reaching a new and absolute comfort.
The SoftPad system is a device designed to guarantee a perfect stability to the eyewear and a full fit to the user’s head.
the nEXxt ranges designed by carefully analysing the geometry of the eyewear based on the possible interaction with other PPE to ensure the best possible protection to the worker and total comfort. The use of special engineering devices, in addition to the possibility of an independent use, enables products to harmonise perfectly with other safety devices.
Zeronoise is the Univet technology created specifically to facilitate the combined use ear muff/eyewear. The patented temples have in fact shorter and reduced section terminals to cancel the interference with cushions avoiding the ear muff loses part of its attenuation capacity. Flexibility and ergonomics allow the operator to wear the glasses without having to remove the ear muffs, ensuring lasting comfort and a high level of protection.
